The BBC has now issued a grovelling apology to Trump for editing his January 6 2021 speech to make it seem that he had called on his followers to stage an insurrection. They took two parts of the speech, separated by 54 minutes and talking about entirely different things, spliced them together and gave the utterly wrong context to what was said.

Now that Trump has threatened to sue, two senior BBC executives most involved in the deception have been booted out and the BBC is grovelling at Trump's feet for forgiveness.

I wonder if our ABC, who did EXACTLY the same thing, with EXACTLY the same false splice, will have the integrity to make the same grovelling apology. Actually I don't wonder. There is no way our ABC has the integrity to own up. At the moment their keeping the head down, hoping Trump doesn't notice.

Also, as part of the investigation into the BBC's lies about Trump, it was also revealed that, since the outbreak of war in GAZA the BBC, as a whole, has been forced to retract or alter, on average, two stories per day because they were based on false Hamas propaganda. I believe that the Panorama team justified the splice because they believed that Trump had incited the riot, so their editing was merely an exercise of efficiency.

If the matter gets to court it would be comical to see the defence argue, "Well of course Trump incited the riot. Just look at the Panorama documentary.". I've seen other reports that the BBC used similar footage in other programming. It might be prudent to for them to remove all such footage from their available content.

You've spent years linking to accounts telling us how bad it is in Gaza and now we find out that most of those accounts aren't actually in Gaza at all but instead simply fabricate claims that the gullible (ie AC) fall for.

I saw one yesterday that was claiming he and his family were in a tent in Rafah freezing to death when it fact the night time temperature in Rafah on that night was 60F.

Turns out the account was based in Poland.
