Dear Ttbn,

True, people from certain parts of India, like Punjab (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKMU-Xh5s6k),
have an accent that is very difficult to understand - it is a problem, but which of these do you find easier to understand:

or
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlanNY0v2Pg
?

The money going to India is the students' own money:
Before sending the students to Australia, their families purchased Australian dollars for them, then the students spend it as they see fit, mostly in Australia, but they also import from India some of the items and brands they grew up with and love. Anything wrong?
Don't Australian natives also import things they like from all over the world, especially when so many items are sadly no longer being produced in Australia?

Yuyutsu,
An accent does not necessarily expose the agenda of someone however, Nationality & ethnicity & religious dictation do !

Dear Indyvidual,

I am getting confused as no agendas were mentioned so far in this discussion - what agendas exactly are you having in mind? Just to live and enjoy a good life in Australia perhaps?

And how could the factors you mentioned point at an agenda?
With effort, some may be able to modify the so-called "religion" and "nationality" they were born into, but not their ethnicity.

Yuyutsu,
Your posts scream agenda to those whose mentality affords them to filter fake disguised as fact ! I used to give you the benefit of doubt but no more.

Dear Indyvidual,

I have my opinions alright - this is OLO, On-Line-Opinion, after all!

But how would these be related to the three factors you mentioned:
1) "nationality", that silly piece of paper everyone is forced to be born with whether they like it or not and is difficult to change.
2) What today passes for "religion", which has little to do with God and much to do with the people you were born among, and often can upset your family if you change.
3) Ethnicity, which you cannot at all change while alive.

And Hocus Pocus, these three superficial factors, you claimed earlier, can expose one's agenda?... I think palmistry works better...
