The Inclusion and Diversity module shows how babies and toddlers are affected by “... culture, race, ethnicity, disability, gender and gender identification, intergenerational disadvantage, family types, sexual orientation and sexual identity and socio-economic circumstances.”
What a load of nonsense!
The health, safety and well being of the poor little buggers farmed out to strangers by their mothers comes further down the list.
This is all down to the government (again) making it impossible for mothers to stop home to look after their own children before they start school at 5 years: the age when it is vital for this to happen. As far as I'm aware, there has been no change to the scientific fact that a mother (not a father or anyone else) is of utmost importance to a child - all day, every day until they reach that age.
Taxpayers, including the childless, are currently paying $16 billion for this nonsense, on top of what users pay.
And, safety for babies toddlers is so good, that at least one alleged child abuser has worked in 20 separate centres for the past 8 years.
While the current news about a carer is still an allegation, last year a paedophile “carer” was sentenced to life with a 27 year non-parole period. And, the last revelation is inappropriate photography of babies and toddlers.
It's a poor sort of country where mothers can't actually be mothers because the government has made it too expensive for them to do so.
