The conservative did so well in WA, they are now considering making Basil Faulty their new leader, all six of them. Greens and progressives did well in WA.

I'm not totally biased, all the politicians credited themselves well here in Queensland with their handling of Cyclone Alfred. Our local LNP councilor is a real dynamo, only been a year in the job, and doing so well, can't see her losing in three years time.

"Thought Bubble" politics by Dud Dutton. This guy has had a brain fart and announced a new Noalition policy of deporting dual citizen criminals from Australia (I assume after completing their jail sentence) on the surface it seems a reasonable idea. The problem being that the Constitution does not allow for that, and the High Court has said so. The vast majority of dual citizens who commit crime, tend to commit rather minor crimes, and such serious offenders are few and far between. Dud Dutton wants to spend $400 million on a referendum to change the Constitution so he can kick out the occasional serious transgressor duel citizen. Can we afford a dope who is full of thought bubbles, and brain farts as Prime Minister? This is not as bad as the free lunch for bosses policy, but it comes close! What next free government mansions for billionaires to relieve the housing shortage.

Former Liberal government attorney-general, George Brandis has rubbished the Dutton proposal, describing it as a "very bad" idea and a "thought bubble".
