With the crime situation in Towns like Alice Springs, Moree, Townsville etc; short term policing will not work it just creates conflict with the offenders. It is to little too late for these criminals. We need to remove small children from dysfunctional families and place them in foster care till the age of 18. Ensure they receive good family upbringing and education and create good social function and integration into Australian society.

Never gunna happen....Stolen Generation myth and all that. The very thought of taking an aboriginal kid out of their home is anathema to the authorities because of all the mythology around the stolen generation.

Even more effective would be the removal of drugged-up, Labor voting parents from their children.

There are enough responsible aboriginal parents who could take up fostering and remain culturally appropriate of children from dysfunctional homes to give children a sense of responsibility and early behavioral training.

Giving money, policing and curfews are not the answer, the problem is dysfunctional families, who believe they have their rights denied. In the recent SA Voice referendum one third of aboriginals in SA turned up to vote, 10,000 of 30,000 yet the government of SA goes ahead and discredits the National Vote and divides society by race. Family dysfunction will continue while aboriginals are not given social intergration and see themselves as underclass.

Has anyone noticed how quiet the authorities & members of the indigenous groups are about the success of the Alice Springs curfews ?
I heard some moron academic do-gooder say on TV that the curfews aren't the answer. Well ?
So far so good from what I hear & see on TV backed by a couple of indigenous women who appeared to feel somewhat up-staged.. No riots, no smashing shops & cars etc. Not working they say ?
Anyone have any updates because the ABC/SBS certainly don't show any !
