Idiots electing other idiots? Sheep led by donkeys?

It all comes back to the sheeps' lack of interest in what is being done to them, by the donkeys who, in turn allow themselves to be manipulated by Big Business and unelected advisors.

As a long as decent, clever people leave politics to self-serving rubbish who want a well-paying job for life, nothing will change.

Voters need to revolt (peacefully) by treating voting as a responsibility, not something to be done because it's compulsory. They don't actually have to vote for any of the trash: they just need to get their names marked off.

If voters just showed a bit of defiance (safely thanks to the secret ballot) I reckon there are people out their smart enough and willing enough to put themselves up as alternatives to the rubbish we are getting now.

Armchair, evs won't be a passing fad as if not electricity then what
could be used ? I think the green liquid fuels would run into the
magnitude of the supply needed.
Electricity is the only practical energy source for transport.
The oil companies are preparing to exit the oil industry except for
plastics and I presume lubricating oils.
Shell & BP seem to be leading the way out !
Shell sold their retail business (service stations etc) in the UK and
Germany and likewise have done a deal with AMPOL.
It will take a long time to disengage but it has started.
