The Forum has an annual budget of around $A600 million. It is funded by its members - about 1,000 businesses, and by fees from celebrities, journalists, and other individuals who can afford to attend the luxurious venue in Davos - usually 3,000 people all up.
The Great Reset was born out of the organisation's desire to exploit the acceptance by the masses of the authoritarianism of the Covid panic, and extend it to just about everything and everyone globally.
Before that, in 2016, the Forum had already been branded as "a silent couple de ètat to capture governance".
The Forum's latest piece of arrogant authoritarianism is Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), which appears to have kept some of the usual suspects (including Elon Musk and 9 out of 10 of the world’s richest people) away from this year's extravaganza.
And, old Schwab (82) is now being described as a law unto himself, "completely unaccountable to anyone".
The WEF has already got its claws into what are called Young Global Leaders: some of these being Vladimir Putin, Jacinta Ardern, Justin Trudeau; and, worrying for Australia: Senator Hanson-Young, Senator Andrew Bragg, and Government Minister, Clare O'Neil.
It would be good if the right people were waking up and 2023 was "Schwab’s last stand", as well as that of the World Economic Forum.
