Integrity in politics is indeed topical, but has taken a bashing, particularly in the anthropogenic global warming context. Both sides are politicking as hard as they can to get eventual passage of the CPRS or similar legislation. Yet there is no scientific or economic justification for taking any such action. The IPCC has been searching for scientific evidence of AGW for over 20 years, but has failed to find any. Instead it has chosen to mislead and deceive the world by generating alarming scenarios with its socalled climate models. These models have never been validated, and consequently they are useless for forecasting purposes. Witness the IPCC’s failure to predict the global cooling that has occurred since 1998, the failure to predict El Nino weather effects and the failure to predict the coldest Northern winter in over 50 years. AGW is the hoax of both the 20th and 21st centuries. Government policy that is not founded on integrity, cannot be expected to turn out to be in the national interest.
