To be sure the world is better off withjout Saddam, but is Iraq better off with US and British corp's managing and taking most of the oil profits? Methinks there could be even more terrorism through it. Also if the United Nations had been running the show, once Saddam was captured and his sons done away with, there might have been a possibility of occupation troops getting out and doing a deal with the Sunni two-timers, who along with their Christian helpers, whom incidently had become far more Westernised than the Shias. As it is now, with the attempts at some sort of Ersatz or Dyarky democracy with the Americans half-running the show from the White House and Iran so friendly with the Shias, could make the Americans think that in the long-run, simply getting Saddam out of the road with the UN in charge would have been the best and cheapest answer. Of course, we must not forget the saying that though us Christians do believe that Heaven runs on righteousness, the earth now unfortunately, runs on oil. And there is more than plenty left in Iraq. What hypocrites us Westerners have really become.
