Even the Wall St Journal seems to think Rudd is running in the wrong direction with his stimulus package. In discussing the various components of the Rudd package - specifically the section on building town halls and other local buildings the WSJ article below states:
"Presumably this is so all the newly unemployed can meet and reminisce about the times when they used to have jobs."
