Receiving my grandfathers inheritence put my career back 10 years. I find it hard to see hope in this generation of finding a solution. It is too superficial to attack israel or the palestianians. However, a recent palestinian academic maverick wrote that it is the development dollar from Europe and Iran that is sustaining the conflict. Research shows that charity handouts are directly linked to youth population growth, unemployment, idleness, hopelessness. If the UN and Iranian money dried up tomorrow, hope would return to the area, not war. Gazan parents would have less children (current average 6). With no handouts and less children, a new generation of mothers would not let their only son or daughter be a matyred. Life and work would be valued with dignity, instead of mothers letting their youth shower the 5000 rockets and missiles into Israel between 2006 and 2008, that sparked the self-defence retaliation. There would be work abundant and no youth idleness and dependence to allow a growth in Hamas thugs. Bring it on.

Stupid European and British Governments have allowed this hatred to become world wide by their ridiculous 'non discriminatory' immigration policies. Our socialist are also creating the same policies here. Soon these idiots (socialist) will find out what true discrimination is when the intolerant Muslims outnumber them. The clock is ticking and future generations (unless we are nuked by then) will curse the ridiculous minded secular dogmas.

Israel has lost the Public Relations war, that's for sure, when so few commentators mention the Hammas rockets. Between 6,000 and 20,000 of them have been fired over the last 8 years, by a group which is supposed to be a government. In all other cases when one government does this to another, the commentators call it a war. But in this case, it only becomes a war when Israel strikes back.
As for Europe's (and Australia's) Muslim minority, when they hear that message from the media and government, they might be in a better position to make the distinction between assault and retaliation.

I'd like to see the world's Muslims rise up in anger at a) the Muslims being killed by other Muslims in Gaza and b) the terrorist attacks, such as rocketing civilians, that Muslims in Gaza are carrying out on civilians in the name of Allah and Islam.

But, noooo, we won't see that, will we? Not in Europe and not in Australia.

The israel army must be brought to the international court of justice because Israel in invading Gaza not only destroy UN school and warehouses, but they also use white phosporus in their invasion. White phosphorus has a significant, incidental, incendiary effect that can severely burn people and set structures, fields, and other civilian objects in the vicinity on fire. Human Rights Watch believes that the use of white phosphorus in densely populated areas of Gaza violates the requirement under international humanitarian law to take all feasible precautions to avoid civilian injury and loss of life. Human Right Watch statement proves to the world that what the israel do in Gaza is not a self defence but a form of GENOCIDE to the moslem and christian who live in Gaza.

Um, the Red Cross has said Israel did not use white phosphorous illegally in the recent Gaza violence, thus "proving to the world" that Human Rights Watch is far more motivated by defaming Israel than it is watching out for human rights. And if you or the world would actually read the Human Rights Watch report on the matter, you'ld quickly realise it barely references the laws of war, and where it does, it usually misinterprets them.
