Anyone who associates themselves with this farce of Govt in NSW will need a lot more than a wing or all the prayers in heaven. We now have the dregs of this rancid Govt trying to engraciate themselves with alterior motives of more self indulgence?Pull the other one.You will be decimated at the bye elections and more so come 2011.

Whilst some credit must be given to the Greens with all their bleating about developer donations etc etc, why don't they just put up some decent legislation that prohibits electioneering as we currently see it.

1. Election is announced.

2. Candidates nominate and provide resume for public distribution to Electoral Commissioner (and pay deposit and non-refundable $500 admin fee)

3. Electoral Commissioner provides website for each candidate and prints single A4 page for distribution to relevant electors. No other material is allowed to be distributed, however, the website is referred to and can host as much content as the candidate likes.

4. Distribution of how to votes and posters etc at polling places illegal.

5. Any preference deals are listed on the Electoral Commission website by electorate.

All this means that candidates don't need funds.

Get going Greens..., oh, and no electoral funds are distributed to parties based on their vote - oh, don't tell me this is stopping the Greens?
