The thing that gets me is how some groups expect the biggest polluters to react and change before we as "Australia" do so.
Seems to me a bit like waiting for the dinosaurs to stop eating and whatnot before we get on with our lives.
Who are the dinosaurs these days? My bet is it's not those of us who remember E.F. Schumacher, and act accordingly.
