Ni'lin/Bi'lin (alternative spellings apparently) is a current hot topic, I find it somewhat hard to believe the search results for a start (I got 99,000 for Ni'lin & 332,000 for Bi'lin for a start). It is as good an example of a 'non-violent, public disobedience campaign' as you are likely to see. They are protesting against the route of the wall, which is their right, and have been somewhat succesful (even to the extent that the route was changed: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/150573.

Seems there is a chance, that if this gets up that non-violent protest might one day be viewed as a legitimate way of getting one's point across in the West Bank (who'd of thought it?). Finally someone with brains getting involved by the looks of it, I wonder if this will spread? Can't really see Hamas/Fatah embracing it, and I can't see the proponents of it using it succesfully against either, so unfortunately it probably is a flash in the pan (although I suspect the peace at any price crowd will try it again and again ad nauseum).
