Nuclear disarmament: Is Rudd serious? : Comments

The number of countries possessing nuclear weapons has increased and the international momentum for nuclear disarmament has all but stopped.

Mr Rudd has a most subtle sense of humour.

Nukes are the Klatu we need to have. If you remember, Klatu is the dangerous robot capable of destroying the planet in the film The Day The Earth Stood Still.

When all countries have nukes we can all rest assured no hostile bully will invade. Notice how Uncle Sam has stayed out of Pakistan.

We humans are murderous predators. We only pull back from our lust for killing when our own existences are threatened.
