Great predictive capacity shown by the author - weeks after this article was first published Murdoch's Sunday Telegraph endorsed a Labor vote? When was the last time a Murdoch paper did that?

the ruling class used to rule through religion, now they rule through the media. both means persuaded, although religion had threats at it's disposal as well.

the rise in power of a professional managerial class in politics and commerce have added a fourth player to human society.

The author makes no mention of those in the media who's allegiances are firmly with the ALP - have they all left to contest seats in this election?
