Miacat, I’ve been watching from the sidelines at your posts for some time … I am encouraged and empathise with what you have to say … but I am disillusioned.

I find it so frustrating that people, when confronted with ideas that challenge their way of thinking and initially want to engage (or shoot you down), they then disengage.

Is this an admission on their part that they may be wrong but prefer to bury their head in the sand – an apparent defence mechanism? Methinks it is.
