The inequality suffered by Indigenous Australians is complex and deserves more than the hasty 'reforms' pitched by Howard.

I found this confusing and somewhat incoherent. I'm not sure what the interviewer was trying to convey about Gary Foley (or Noel Pearson for that matter). Snippets and short quotations can't do justice to a complex topic like this.

I wonder if OLO could publish an article actually written by Gary Foley.

Yes I think OLO would publish but i don't think GF knows about this site.

I'll read as many of these essays as I can. Do you know if there's anything more recent from Gary Foley?

I'd be interested in his 'take' on the University of Melbourne's failure to staff the Indigenous History course, for example.

Last time i heard of gar Foley he had been found guilty of coercing a 14 year old into performing fellatio on him, and now he is teaching at a university.
