Not only a lesson for Pakistan but workers in Australia. Howard is ratcheting up a case for boosting the power of government outside of any and all legal restraints. Some basic legal rights go back to Magna Carta. Charges are thrown out of court hearings because the "evidence" is at best, alluded to. In other words, unsubstantiated thought crimes in the governments head, in its so called "war on terror." The war is in their heads and victims are required. The old long used ploy or right wing practise of turning hostility against the political establishment outwards or elsewhere. Historically extending back before the White Australia Policy brought in by the Labor Party in its opening charter. Its target, to smear and criminalise immigrants and take the heat off politicians and their wrecking operation against the whole social infrastructure. A major part is to debase society, such as their wrecking operation to downgrade education and hospitals turning them into big money spinners. First against Muslims, immigrants and soon, make no mistake, workers with the new industrial relations laws. Howard's dream is to be a peacock strutting the world stage, showing his masters in the oil conglomerates, banks and financiers how devious he is and what a money making asset he is for them
