Thanks for an informative article about a little-known nation. Years ago I taught African Studies at Princes Hill High School before Djibouti was a nation and apart from a conversation with an African student in the local Homework programme I have barely heard Djibouti mentioned in thirty years. What a pleasure to hear of a developing nation that is succeeding. I still have some stamps from the 1940's showing a train, no doubt part of the French colonial heritage.
