Recycling sexual stereotypes won’t necessarily get us closer to the truth of what happened to Dianne Brimble. Best Blogs 2006.

I find it a puzzle that we can scrutinise this poor woman's life to the nth degree, yet only snippets of those ghastly mens lives and sexual predatory behaviour can be aired. How must their parents feel to have raised such monsters? Diane seems to have been a nice enough lady who merely wanted to relax for a time before getting back to the daily grind. Who hasn't? Why her actions should be allowed to be aired in such a demeaning way is beyond me. Once again, another failure of the legal processes. Your article was adequate but did not look at the procedures in enough depth. But thanks anyway.

Thanks for that.

It's seem always to be the case that it is the female victim or the female perpetrator (in other cases) who is the one who gets all the attention.

Perhaps female sexuality is still viewed as suspect or wrong.

Of course, there is a lot of room for further discussion about this issue frim many different angles.

I apprecaite your feedback.

The type of crimes involving the use of date rape drugs should be:

a) if involving more than 1 perpetrator: conspiracy (as below)
b) destruction of the evidence
c) obstruction of justice
d) conspiracy to commit rape
e) conspiracy to commit assault
f) crimes against humanity (the victim seen as second class, a proper target of assault/rape/murder, deserving to be deprived of criminal legal process)
g) violation of multiple international treaties
