l wounder if the author of this article recently bought some Biota shares at their recent fear and ignorance induced high of $2.75 (10th Oct) only to find them down 30% from that high three days later (currently around $1.90). This stock was up nearly 500% over the last 2 months. Those industry shills have been doing a sensational job ramping up bio-schlep stocks. Damn... didnt buy any. Ah well, there is always next time.

Yes, yes, l know the sky is falling and the wolf is coming to eat us.

Prepare for Avian Influenza!

I have updated the acute illness regimen in the influenza article. It now contains N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC), which has been found to increase glutathione levels in lung alveoli. Since Avian Flu attacks the lungs, I therefore decided that adding NAC would be prudent.

CQS HealthAlert - October 13, 2005

(Note to my subscribers: given the barrage of mainstream media rants about
Avian Flu, I want to be sure to provide you with up-to-date real health
information about it.)

President Bush has now asked Congress to pass legislation allowing the U.S.
military to manage policing of the country (aka Martial Law) if we have an
Avian Flu epidemic. Included in his press statements have been mentions of
quarantines, and recent executive orders and laws passed in the last two
years (particularly "BioShield" legislation) have enabled mandatory
vaccination and quarantine or imprisonment for refusal. (Unfortunately I am
not kidding about this.)

It appears that one way or another it is likely that there will be an Avian
Flu outbreak here, either from accidental importation from the Far East but
actually more likely from the experimentation with Avian Flu vaccines now
being done here in the U.S. I am reproducing here an article I just wrote
and have at my website at http://www.cqs.com/epidemic.htm.

Please protect yourselves and your family this winter. Refer to my article
on influenza, http://www.cqs.com/influenza.htm. Spread the word to your
friends and neighbors. The regimen included will not only protect against
the flu, but also will mitigate the possibility of harm if immunization is
mandated.

Will government experimentation cause an Avian Flu Epidemic?

Dr. Len Horowitz has recently expounded on the origins of epidemics and
their causes, in a wide-ranging article - Avian Flu Fright: Politically
Timed for Global "Iatrogenocide" - a copy of which I have placed on my
website at http://www.cqs.com/horowitz.htm since I cannot yet find it
published anywhere else. (In the article, Dr. Horowitz specifically gives
permission for anyone to do so to get the word out.)

After reading Dr. Horowitz's article, I remembered that there have been
recent press releases about experimental vaccines that are being prepared -
right now - for Avian Influenza, and federal authorities are concerned that
not enough will be available if there is an outbreak or epidemic. But
something doesn't make sense: other articles have stated that the Avian Flu
hasn't mutated yet to be able to spread from human to human easily. So how
are they creating a vaccine for a virus that doesn't exist yet? And how are
they testing such a vaccine, for a virus that supposedly kills more than 50%
of its victims?

The answer is even more horrifying than the question: two U.S. companies
have been contracted to create and test Avian Flu vaccines on 450 voluntary
human subjects in three cities: Rochester, NY, Baltimore MD, and Los
Angeles, CA, using a culture of H5N1 Avian Flu isolated in China in 2004. In
this article published by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious
Diseases (NIAID), there is no mention of quarantine for the test subjects:
http://www.nih.gov/news/pr/mar2005/niaid-23.htm

What does this mean? They are playing with fire. 450 people in three major
cities are being "vaccinated" with an "experimental" vaccine with a
supposedly "inactivated" virus that kills more than half of its victims if
it is fully active, and for which there is not yet any natural immunity.

Resurrecting the zombie killer flu virus
By Roger Kalla - posted Friday, 14 October 2005

The steady advances in the new science of synthetic biology have been brought to the attention of media and the public through the revelation of the whole gene complement of the extinct killer influenza strain that caused the 1918 influenza pandemic.

This marks another milestone in design of life, by man through the use of molecular tools developed over the last three decades, and is a first tentative step on the way to fulfil the prophecies of the resurrection of extinct species depicted in so many science fiction novel and movies. It is a truly groundbreaking scientific achievement but it also raises questions about the wisdom of resurrecting what has been labelled “potentially the most effective bioweapon now known to mankind”.

Will the public and the politicians allow tinkering with nature in the present climate of fear and distrust of new technologies?

To alleviate public fears about scientists playing God and the risks associated with resurrecting a killer flu, the US national body that oversees biosecurity policy asked the authors of the analysis of the 1918 flu virus to insert a statement that explained the importance of the work to public health and that it was conducted safely.

The scientists continuing the work readily admit there can be no 100 per cent guarantee of safety. However the work is directed at understanding what happened in nature and how to prevent another pandemic. They argue that in this case the bio-terrorist is nature not the intelligent designer.
