Yes, the margins in the marginals are marginal.

If you accept that the Blair Government is desperately unpopular then what will be truly surprising is if Labour are re-elected with a large majority. What will be astounding, under this assertion, will be if the Tories only gain a few seats. It would have to be the end of days if they actually loose seats. If the Tories fail to gain at least 50 seats they will find themselves vying with the Lib Dems as principle opposition party.
