Earthquakes and resulting Tsunamis are often associated with periods of great social change and unrest. The Aceh and Sri Lanka areas have been in turmoil for years. The earthquake can caused a tidal wave on the other side of the world, just as a stroke might affect a portion of the body far from the original damage
