Ethics

There seem to be very few politicians who are aware of ethics or practice in an ethical manner.

The missuse of language - weasel words as some describe it - seems to have become common practice. As one commentator said 'Words mean nothing to Gearge Bush'. They would also seem to mean nothing to our Prime Minister. Weasel words mask lack of commitment to principles of honest behaviour.

Many of our leaders seem to have had a conscience bypass.
Maybe ethics can't exist in the world of politics.

What we need is an ethics meter behind the speaker's chair in Parliament, it might isnpire better behaviour.
