The next thing you know, some nutter will start jabbering about Australia's imaginary “obligation” to do something about/for another country just because it's ‘in the region’: oodles of Australian taxpayers' money - and thousands of ‘refugees’. We already have a deal with another joint in the ‘region’ to take ‘climate refugees’, which is rubbish and nothing to do with us.

If Australia “owes” something to the Pacific Islands because we have (not) changed the climate, how much longer will it take to have us paying for volcanic activity in Indonesia!
