“ Why should private tutoring have to exist alongside a rigid public system rather than allowing the whole education sector to become more diverse, competitive and responsive”?

Answer?

If it is true that external 'tutoring' is increasing, it means our approach to education is wrong.
Were our education system adequate, there would rarely be a need for extra teaching.
And no need for someone to advertise their services here.
Or is it that 'one size doesn't fit all'?
That students need a variety of educational approaches, if education is to be successful.
Can one teacher provide all the different teaching styles needed in a classroom?
If not, can we regroup students based on intelligence level, and genuine interests.
Such as artistic, scientific, etc.
Then teaching could be directed to groups rather than individuals.
Would this be more efficient?
And isn't this how it is already done with higher education?
Whatever the case, state run education is the best system for all students.

Who are the people who let education fall by the wayside ? Is really only the Left ?
