The Tates cases have become politically charged because supporters argue the brothers are victims of politically motivated prosecutions, which of course is the unmitigated stand of this author in the current article, on the injustice of the legal system, top to bottom, skewed against men.

Nothing at all to do with Donald Trump as the sicko Daffy would have us believe, from his own lonely cocoon of Democrat brainwashing.

Arndt says that “a staggering 67% of all costs certificates in assault cases are now due to sexual assault matters. That's more than double just three years earlier, in 2019/20, when sex crimes accounted for a mere 28% of the total”; and also that “costs certificates for assault matters are becoming rarer overall”. But a growing percentage of a diminishing number tells you precisely nothing about the prevalence or scale of the issue. Arndt doesn’t link to a source, nor give actual numbers. Given her history of distorting and misrepresenting data, this raises alarm bells. In crime and other social statistics, such a large change in a ratio is usually a result of small changes in small numbers, not large changes in large ones. For example, these numbers would be correct if sexual assault cases accounted for 7 of a total of 25 costs certificates for assault in 2019/20 and 2 of a total of 3 cases in 2022/23. But few people would consider this development “staggering”.

Everyone is entitled to a fair trial, and credible analysts such as Janet Albrechtson are doing good work exposing instances where cases without merit have been prosecuted. But the number of people who have committed sexual assault and got away with it is far, far, higher than those falsely accused, let alone imprisoned. The same ARC report Arndt cites says that fewer than 10% of cases of sexual assault are reported to police. Of these, about 80% do not proceed to charge. Most of those that lead to charges do not get convictions
