Australia's artificial intelligence debate keeps circling around skills. Train more workers. Teach people to prompt. Build digital literacy. Those are sensible goals, but they leave out one group.

First make sure there is enough reliable electricity available. It is reported that AI will eventually suck up 6% of what's available. As another writer has observed, the AI dream might be for other countries, not Australia, the way energy is being fiddled with here by the Albanese nincompoops.

I think we have enough solar potential to secure the electricity needed for it.
