I had the sheer pleasure of recently watching on Aunty ABCTV, for the uumteenth time, Baz Lurhman’s masterpiece “Strictly Ballroom”. How joyous was the scene when Fran’s Spanish family graciously, proudly and tenderly teach Scott how to dance the Passa Doble properly. Now that is the Australia I love and celebrate. Multiculturalism at its simplest and most splendid. Not the racist Australia I grew up in as a kid. An Australia which still didn’t acknowledge our indigenous brothers and sisters, a culture that called Greeks and Italians ‘wogs’, a culture that adopted a whites only Australia, a culture that stigmatizes refugees fleeing persecution and wars.

Australia has always been a racist country. To deny that is to deny the reality of history. Poor-lean is playing to that. I, me, myself, personally refuse to participate in her hate.

The (hopeless) coalition will stand only where it sees votes to be able to cling to power.
It has no vision for other than the coalition and that will, as always, be the next election or the end of its nose.

In essence, Taylor Liberals are no different to Ley Liberals. They're more oriented to the woke elite than to everyday voters. They wouldn't dare seriously debunk the traitor Albanese's world-beating 1.6m low-skill poor-fit net migration over 2022-26, his vile claim that anyone who disagrees with his "diverse" multicultural nirvana is Not Who We Are. Their continuing cowardice gives wavering voters every possible reason to keep switching to ON.

Australia is what it is. As Hanson herself, not being the sharpest tool in the shed, admitted that she doesn't know how to define monoculteralism, and how it would work in a practical sense in real life in everyday Australia.

Would Australian monoculterlism demand that every new arrival, and those who have been here for some time, from lands without a loose connection to Anglo-Celtic culture, what ever that is, abandon their cultural roots and adopt this yet undefined Aussie culture? I don't think that's desirable, or even possible in a practical sense. Migrants arriving in Australia from outside the Anglosphere, generally have cultural practices and beliefs that are benign, and don't negatively impact other Australians. Example, many migrants don't eat pork, as Australia is a pork consuming society, should it be demanded that to be truly part of our monculture, all shall eat pork. me thinks not.

What should be demanded of all residing in Australia permanently or as temporary visitors, that they accept and respect Australian values, something that can be clearly defined. If there are those in our society who have cultural beliefs that makes their values incomparable with Australian values then that is unacceptable, and most likely illegal. Example, physical punishment of a women for defying the rules of her husband. I think that's illegal as domestic violence, as it is for all Australians under Australian law.
