That is the kindest thing anyone has said to me for a longish time.
But I still think I am right.
And to call our elected representatives liars is a bit strong.
Doing so casts doubt on the majority which elected them.
And I would never do that.
And in spite of YOUR doubts, most politicians do have good intent.
And yes: governments have totally stuffed up the housing situation.
Bringing people to this country when there is nowhere to put them is stupid beyond comprehension.
And yet they continue to do it.
So this is one area where they are blind.
But if Labor is re-elected next time, that will show a majority don't think it as important as WE think.
Which is a strange attitude for them to have?
But one which is accepted.
If it is not accepted: Hello Pauline?
