A US-Iran ceasefire is only the first step. Lasting peace will require Israel to abandon the logic of permanent regional war.

"Lasting peace will require Israel to abandon the logic of permanent regional war".

That piece of anti-Israel bigotry saves serious people from wading through another load of rubbish.

- That comment shows your neither serious or intelligent, just biased.

Fairly bland article, not much to see here.
A few minor errors in it.

The issue is plain and simple, don't over complicate matters.
Have the nations surrounding Israel declared their intent to eliminate it, or not? If the answer is "yes" than obviously Israel is justified in any effort to counter such a threat. If not, then criticism of Israel may be valid. But first provide the evidence. My view is that the evidence is clear. Phenomenal shifts are needed, but not by Israel.

Maybe Israel (and ttbn too) need to learn the old rule
'If you always do as you've always done, then you'll always get what you always got'.

I saw this tweet yesterday about a father who had his pregnant wife and 8 family members killed in and airstrike. He picked up his 8 year old daughters head.

These Israeli's are lunatics, they support killing kids arguing they become terrorists and justify killing babies as well as ones still in the womb.

They throw puppies and kittens into bonfires.

Isn't it funny how Jews have been historically kicked out of 109 countries 1030 times?
If they keep acting this way another Hitler might rise to 'mow their grass' again, as they've been doing to others for decades.

In my opinion, if they wish to live by the sword in hatred and vengeance, then they're signing their own demise.
They are a deeply troubled nation and people and a danger to the lives of others.
