A tripartite coalition is not a realistic prospect. One Nation will determine its own course in the face of pressure from the Australian Labor Party, the Liberal Party, and the Nationals, and any party aligned with that direction may choose to follow.

The Liberal party is too far up itself to team up with One Nation - apart from the fact that it is too busy trying to be like Labor. As part of the uniparty, it is also keen to replace the Australian population with migrants who come from political environments that might consider entertaining socialist and dictatorial governance.

Canavan has tried to belittle Pauline Hanson on more than one occasion; and like all of them, he will suddenly back down on most of his ‘beliefs’ now that he is a ‘leader’.

After their performance in SA over the weekend, they shouldn't trust any approaches from other parties, and probably will not. One Nation, the only conservative party in the country has nothing in common with the Liberal Party (now a truly small ‘l’ liberal/leftist party, or the Nationals, who are letting down what used to be their rural constituency.

In SA, rural Murray Bridge has gone to One Nation (was Liberal) and the seat of Elizabeth - a working class area if there was ever one, looks like going the same way.

One Nation is like no other party. It would be a shame if it was tricked into palling up with any of the others. Keeping the other bastards honest is more worthwhile than being in government on their own or in a coalition. All politicians turn to water when they become the government.
