The mental health system is making us sicker : Comments

The 20th century was the age of diagnosis. The 21st must become the age of recovery, measured not by how many people we enrol in the mental health system, but by how many no longer need it.

Government spending on most things, health, education, age etc. is generally a substitute for actually doing something. More pockets are filled, more bureaucrats are employed for - nothing. Governments do - nothing. The people really in charge in a democracy, the voters do - nothing.
