I wish commentators would stop evoking past politicians who are old or long dead. There's was a different time, simpler and easier managed. There is no knowing how they would have performed in the 21st. Century.

Even the recent hasbeens like Abbott, Turnbull, Howard, Keating etc are as boring as batshit: and they were not all that smart when they were in power. But Menzies is a fossil, and I actually remember him, and believe that he wouldn't be “turning in his grave”, nor doing anything much differently than the dills of today are doing.
