It is ridiculous to seek scientific research and experts in order to address a socio-political issue.

Climate activists and governments are not ignorant idiots (as the author seems to suggest) - they know exactly what they want, and it has nothing to do with physical/atmospheric climate and so much to do with human/emotional climate. Neither scientific research, nor financial costs, can ever change their wishes.

Amazing how the Woke Left chooses to be quiet around evidence ! The clearing of land for wind farms in Australia may not be as severe as the goings-on in Sulawesi, the principle remains the same.

The amount of thorium mined and not used could produce power that exceeds world energy demand, so using thorium has the potential to reduce mining and land clearing.

Germany has caused great damage to its economy by closing down its nuclear reactors and pursuing wind and solar. Australia should not follow Germany to oblivion.

China will have a prototype smr grid connected next year, and several prototypes will be operating in the US over the next few years. Hopefully the grifters' days are numbered.
