When the opening gambit is "two of the world’s biggest fossil-fuel cheerleaders", a rationalist might assume we're talking about China, India or the US. That's a thing about net-zero religion. Longer on class solidarity and group emotions, shorter on science and evidence.

Why is it that the world's biggest fossil fuel users are the ones who point the finger at their suppliers ?
