Waterway transportation costs just 3–5% of road transport, with far lower emissions - the economics of bulk freight alone would justify such an investment.

Thank God Stewart Ballantyne hasn’t packed up his tent and left Australia in frustration after all.

He is the futuristic dreamer most desperately needed to combat the Troglodytes in Canberra.

Thank God again for dreamers; it would be a sad world without them.

Back in 1985, BA Santamaria hoped that John Howard would “set himself against the trendiness …. of recent leaders ….. who have transformed the Liberal Party into a vague, bloodless, and ineffective replica of Labor”.

Old Bob wouldn't believe what the Liberals are like 42 years later.

The Liberal Party, in its current form, with its current leader, and the dope who took it to the last election, are entirely to blame for the return of the most Left-wing, economically illiterate, anti-Western culture government in our history.
