Israel was already on the verge of splitting or a civil war until the massacre of October 7th, 2023 forced it to temporarily and crudely unite: the Gaza war is only a derivative of the internal Israeli schism. Had you been familiar with present Israeli internal affairs, you would have known that Netanyahu is described there as "the purple haired", nor orange!

And had you been acquainted with Israeli internal affairs up until October 6th, 2023, you would have been very aware of the chasm building up as Israel splits into two societies with very different ideas as to what Israel is all about.
