Misusing the children: The UK Online Safety Act, privacy and censorship : Comments

By Binoy Kampmark, published 4/8/2025

Many seem to want censorship as a form of stand-in parenting—leaving children permanently immature and unspoiled by the richer, more complicated life.

As with Labour Starmer, so with Albanese Labor. The real purpose of these restrictions is to strengthen government's hand in brainwashing young people with approved government lies. Particularly as regards United Nations policies of net-zero and open-borders.

What is going on in the UK is just a distraction from what is going on in authoritarian Australia, where the liars are introducing control and brain washing under the guise of telling parents that ‘we've got your backs’, when they are actually taking over the roles of parents and causing disharmony in families.

The Socialists fear and hate the family.

Leave the UK, the US to look after their own problems. Stop trying to cover up our political problems, caused by Anthony Albanese, by rabbiting on about Keir Starmer and Donald Trump.

All of Australia's problems have been caused by Anthony Albanese - nobody else.

The eSafety Commissioner’s (aka taxpayer employed censor and suppressor of free speech and information) budget has risen to $42.5 million.

Australian taxpayers are paying to be silenced.

The claim that we are being “protected” is a lie. We are paying to be controlled and silenced.

Much of the budget goes to paying private companies to track dissenters and report to the eCensor.

There have been calls for Australians to stand up to an increasingly authoritarian government, but they don't seem to be listening.
