Interviewed July 2025 on his Australian book-tour, US sociologist Musa al-Gharbi waxed eloquent on wokeness and inequality, on US and China. Though I failed to subvert his next book.

I also read this morning of the death of the conservative icon, John Stone. 94 years old and not unexpected; but another sign that the glory days of Australia are a thing of past.

Starmer the Harmer is desperate for support. The ALP, however, has it made as the recent election showed - despite having the worst leader ever.

If they applied some kind of competency test to voting, most of Australia's Old Fart octogenarians wouldn't get a look in.
