If productivity growth in construction had kept pace with manufacturing, the economy would now be $60 billion better off every year.

Sure, rebalance IR, but those solutions won't fix our productivity. It's true, many builders have gone to the wall, this is hardly surprising, when both Morrison and Albanese responded to the big hike in building costs, via a record hike in immigration. Which the author assumes, to continue indefinitely, thus guaranteeing permanent "housing crisis". Relative to existing stock, Australia is one of the best home builders in the OECD, not much more can be flogged out of this horse.

Australia & Caucasian Australians will be comparable to Jonestown before long if the CMFEU keeps up its antics..
