Trump buries UN & EU calls for new state between Israel & Jordan : Comments

By David Singer, published 28/3/2025

The G7 Foreign Ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States of America – with the High Representative of the EU also attending - made no mention of the two-state solution in their final communique.

"Wars ain’t pretty; toughen up, observe the tribulations of Israel and learn."
- Israel's headed towards becoming a failed state.

"What you see is a country scorched by the Leftist Elite steering the undemocratic ship of State into very dark corners.
Netanyahu has been a beacon of light for the majority of Israelis who installed him Democratically through the ballot box."

You misidentify me as someone who cares what happens to Israel, I don't.
I care more about the trouble it causes being a cancer upon the planet.

All the endless wars and Muslim immigration they've caused.
These things affect me more than I'm affected by what happens to the aggressor.

- As for 'democractic', he's fired the AG and the head of Shin Bet, his own people hate him, and he's turned the nation over to right wing psychopathic lunatics to avoid facing a court for his own crimes, but it's all part of his terroristic plan where the ends justifies any means.

"I’m seldom impressed or convinced of the worth of your many links; they follow a misconstrued MSM and U.N. theme of lies generally."
- Maybe that's because you'd rather listen to rhetoric than facts.
(And like I said, above your pay-grade)

"Accidentally (I would guess), your link to the Israeli think tank pdf, of 2009, (hardly topical), however, inadvertently highlights the reason the ME is in turmoil now; Obama/ Biden years, there alone is a long story which is in the process of fixing under Trump; being undermined with the incompetence of Witkoff and his blundering, but heading in the “Right” direction now."

You'd need to go back further than that to see the bigger picture.
As for my links, even the ones that are comedy in nature are more informative than anything I've seen you put forward.

You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.
(and for reference, I'm squarely in that second camp)

Dear Dan,

«Netanyahu has been a beacon of light for the majority of Israelis who installed him Democratically through the ballot box.»

In the last Israeli elections, Netanyahu's party received 23.41% of the votes. According to the last survey, if elections were held today, that would be down to 20%.

Netanyahu's ruling coalition only received a slim majority, that too thanks to an electoral-system glitch, and had elections been held today, then it would be losing 52:68.

Israel's most popular Prime-Minister candidate on a 2-candidate basis, is its former Prime-Minister, Naftali Bennett, supported by 38% compared with Netanyahu's 33%. On a multi-candidate basis, only 15% still consider Netanyahu the best candidate - that's true: that must mathematically include at least 25% of those still voting for his own party!

Israel is a split country with no agreement among its citizens as to what it is all about. Up until October 6th, 2023, plans and maps were being drawn to divide Israel into two separate states. These plans were shelved following Hamas' attack, but now Israel is again edging closer to a civil war.

Dear Critic,

«All the endless wars and Muslim immigration they've caused.
These things affect me more than I'm affected by what happens to the aggressor.»

This is extremely naive - do you really think that Israel caused the many wars in the Middle-East?

Arabs have always been fighting among themselves, then immigrated for a variety of other reasons. Millions have been killed in Syria, Sudan, Iraq, Yemen and more. In Europe, most Muslims today are Syrian refugees and in Australia, most are Lebanese who came here to escape their civil war and their families.

Nothing to do with Israel and even if Israel were to be erased from the map, that would not reduce the number of emigrating Arabs.

In fact, suppose Israel was defeated and no longer existed, then all the "Palestinians" in Lebanon would be sent away since there will no longer be any incentive to keep them there.
Where would they go? Would they really have any interest in that "Palestine" where they have never been and whatever is left of it after the destruction of Israel, not to mention radioactivity? Australia for example would be much much much more attractive for them!

Yuyutsu + AC.

Yours is a view, it’s not remotely like my own.

Dear Dan,

«Yuyutsu + AC. Yours is a view, it’s not remotely like my own.»

Very good - this after all, is OLO!

I do find your view, however, closer to AC's than to mine:

Both yourself and AC seem to believe in the existence of an entity called "The Jews".
You happen to love that entity while AC happens to hate it.
In that you are not alone: Hitler and Orthodox Rabbis too believe(d) in the existence of such a mythical entity, and while they too extremely hated and loved it respectively, both agree(d) that it is humanly impossible for those within to escape that entity.

Myself on the other hand, I hold the view that no such entity actually exists; and while there are people who identify themselves with varying degrees of sentiment as "Jews", there is no real or scientific basis for such spurious claims.

In particular, I strongly hold that there is no such thing as a "Jewish soul" that is different to any other soul. On this point I seem to differ from you both.

I waver across your line which I interpret as a line in the sand dividing Earth from Nirvana: a belief that most of our existence will be in the unknown eternity beyond the death of the mortal body, which is a ludicrous existence in a fantasy land on Earth, captured in a very dispensable biological body, designed to decompose from its first day of birth; insignificant in the greater scheme of things applicable of the endless unknown Universe. But!

Here we are in the moment, on Earth, for the short duration gifted to us by the greater being, also applicable, like the endless Universe, to a personal belief system mostly not of our intelligence capacity, but of a cultural thread binding tightly to an intellectual straight jacket of environmental learning as we pass along individual and totally unlike experiences to each other, to form our unique biases.

Thus:

Yuyutsu + AC.

Yours is a view, it’s not remotely like my own.
