Prime ministers, archbishops, academics, editors and public broadcasters are all in the business of exaggerating the colonial sins of their own countries against noble (not-so-very) savages – from Vancouver to London to Sydney. Why?

The Voice proposal was about being asked to sign a blank cheque. We'll deal with the details later. The majority was for it at the beginning but as time progressed realized just what a half-baked proposal it was.

I doubt, then, that you read the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) 270 page document outlining how this process could have taken place.

Why are those who voted "No" on this issue so upset about getting what they wanted?

Are they starting to realise that they are victims of their own fake history?
