Fake history is flourishing across the West. Just consider these three cases : Comments

By Nigel Biggar, published 2/1/2025

Prime ministers, archbishops, academics, editors and public broadcasters are all in the business of exaggerating the colonial sins of their own countries against noble (not-so-very) savages – from Vancouver to London to Sydney. Why?

There are of course many others too

About bl..dy time ! Get ready for some serious history re-writing by the same people who re-wrote the recent ones !
No doubt there'll be some serious funding available too !
Can't wait for the new words being introduced as the bandwagon start picking up momentum !
Hopefully, some good will come from it after the overdose of invented history lately !

Pretty sure that first story was the one where conspiracy theorists alledged the royal family was involved in the missing kids.
Who knows what the truth is, not me I wasn't there.

Watched a good movie on Netflix a few days back 'The Woman King' it concerns the slave trade in Africa, a good watch - recommended.
Also some interesting info on X the other day about Barbary Pirates, wanting tributes.

As for all this, and the indigenous story, I don't know I wasn't there.
Who knows what the truth is.

- But all in all we see much bigger lies with much bigger consequences by the mainstream media on a daily basis in regards to current events than any of these old stories.

Thank Christ the Voice proposal

- of Black-White politicians representing 4% of Australia's population

- giving these Black-White politicians Veto Power over the House of Reps and Senate, who represent ALL 100% of Australians

was roundly voted down.

WTF?

Maverick states: " giving these Black-White politicians Veto Power over the House of Reps and Senate."

Talk about being conned.

The concept of veto associated with the voice was just fake news.

It was a straight up misrepresentation designed to suck in and outrage the gullible - and it certainly worked.

Yet those who appear to have voted against the voice still seem angry about something, even though they got what they wanted.

Maybe it had nothing to do with the democratic process and more to do personal biases?

Perhaps this is just another example of the author's concept: "which is a way of denying them all responsibility."
