Dear Dan,

«I base my arguments on the premise that the current ME conflict is motivated by Muslim religious hatred of anything and anyone different from them»

If by "religious" you mean male-dominant, then I agree.
The Muslims had no issues against the traditional orthodox Jews who lived for centuries in Israel and in many ways lived like them: their resent of Jews only started much later, after Zionists arrived.

Why? Because the Zionists were modern liberal Europeans, who introduced gender-equality. The Muslim clerics (all men) could not take that threat of liberating their women, which they wanted to keep as merchandise. Nothing to do with the incidental fact that these Zionists also counted as Jews.

Anyway, I am not presently trying to address the "current ME conflict": while it is a nuisance, Israel can handle that conflict and will continue successfully to do so well for the foreseeable future so long as it is internally strong and united, yet Israel has a much bigger problem which corrodes it from inside, that being my priority.

«And no, not the Muslim Kurds»

Unlike most of the Middle-East, the Kurds are liberal people and their women have equal rights and participate equally, even in their fighting militias: that is why, like Israel, the rest of the Middle-East doesn't like them - and while the majority of them chose Islam, other Kurds elected to be Christian and even Jewish. Israel and the Kurds had friendly relations for many decades.

«but other religions minorities such as Christians should be exempted from the mix.»

Do Christian people really want the West Bank and Gaza?
And are willing to pay for it with their blood,
as Israelis have already paid way too much for this rotten merchandise?
Then Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!
Onward Christian soldiers, it's yours for the taking!

Lots of people had all sorts of plans about what to do with the European Jews.

Some pushed Australia's great open wilderness as a homeland for Euro-Jewry.

Roosevelt had his various plans, culminating in the Project M proposals. This suggested they be dotted throughout South America but in small enough groups such that they couldn't form a coherent ethnic force.

Hitler of course originally wanted to some how get access to Britain's Madagascar and send all European Jews there to establish their homeland. He assumed that they'd largely fail and therefore die out far enough away so the Germany would have clean hands.

None of these really stood to much of a chance for success because none of them were the true Jewish homeland as far as the Jews were concerned. Already by the late 1930's enormous numbers of Jews were in the Levant, originally invited by the Ottomans and later simply as refugees from various European and Russian pogroms
