Does it really matter?
The planet, as we know it, is knackered, drowning in a plague of homo sapiens who show no signs of wanting to change anything. Posted by ateday, Thursday, 28 November 2024 10:13:17 AM

Putin: "The Oreshnik system, of course, has no equivalents in the world, and I doubt we will see anything comparable in the foreseeable future. Allow me to briefly explain its operation,
The system deploys dozens of homing warheads that strike the target at a velocity of Mach 10, equivalent to approximately three kilometres per second. The temperature of the impact elements reaches 4,000 degrees Celsius – nearing the surface temperature of the sun, which is around 5,500–6,000 degrees. Consequently, everything within the explosion’s epicentre is reduced to fractions, elementary particles, essentially turning to dust. The missile is capable of destroying even heavily fortified structures and those located at significant depths." http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/transcripts/75687 Prof. Ted Postol Assessing Oreshnik http://www.youtube.com/live/h8LvIkGkfes?t=1461 Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 29 November 2024 7:52:13 PM

- This is not correct.
It contains a MIRV warhead, where each of the individual warheads themselves break into smaller submunitions.
'Oreshnik' means 'Hazelnut' and if you look at the flowers of the hazelnut tree, as well as footage of the attack on the missile factory in Dnipro, you'll see it's aptly named.
Oreshnik, brings kinetic deep-strike capability.
"Such capacity by the Russian military must create a caution in the minds of NATO military leaders. If nuclear warheads are used with the system, devastating blows could be made on NATO targets, without NATO forces having the ability to stop such strikes."
- Western missile defense and their million dollar interceptors which need to be launched 2at a time to hit a $1000 drone, have now been rendered obsolete.
Modern wars will bankrupt nations before they achieve any kind of significant outcome, but make a lot of money for Blackrock and other military contractors they're invested in.
