I think the UN result also shows the United States lacks it's previous held clout and that it's influence in the world is diminishing.
The U.S. is starting to be openly seen as the worlds troublemaker. If America and its western vassal states want to act like an insolent children and fight tooth and nail against the emergence of the multipolar world, (which they've initiated by making war on everyone else and sanctioning 1/3 of the planet) the United States and it's vassal states won't even get a seat at that table, they (and us) will be sitting over in the corner twiddling their thumbs at their own kiddies table. This whole war with China thing is poorly thought out. China is every nation except Americas largest trading partner. A war with China is a war against the whole world, and not only that all those governments will be at war with their own citizens beginning on Day 1, when all our cheap chinese imports stop arriving. How will our country far when Kmart is empty and mums can't buy cheap prams and when bunnings is empty and tradies can't get cheap tools. No ipads no X-boxes, no fuel in the country - I'll give it about a week tops before the whole country starts coming apart at the seams. Americas foreign policy to undermine all rivals and protect the US rule based order and and it's own hegemony will lead it to inevitable conflict, and will also lead to inevitable destruction for everyone else tagging along. Winning or losing won't even matter if someone launches nukes, which they most likely will. So the majority of the world are now firmly against Israel. I'm sure they will blame everyone else for that. Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 27 September 2024 11:26:00 AM

Dear Critic,
«I'll give it about a week tops before the whole country starts coming apart at the seams.» So what are you suggesting instead? Total surrender to China's tyranny? Is the Uighur experience not enough to convince you to resist, at least to TRY? Are we to wait quietly till led in chains by the whip to dig up big holes in Australia's outback to provide minerals for building monuments to the Xi-dynasy's glory? «Winning or losing won't even matter if someone launches nukes, which they most likely will.» When China invades and takes over Australia, you will be wishing you were nuked instead. Do you think you will still be able to shop at Bunnings then? Posted by Yuyutsu, Friday, 27 September 2024 2:08:04 PM

Dear Mr Abridged Conspiracist . (AC for short and curly).
I wonder to myself, alone and safe in my comfortable lounge chair, gazing through the expanse of glass facing off to the blue Pacific Ocean a few hundred yards across the tortured sand dunes in front of my castle fine, just how you are coping with your affliction of rabid Anti Semitism now that Israel has bombed the snot balls out of Beirut City on their winning quest to hammer Islamic terrorism into its nasty little corner? I’d be interested to hear more mutterings of your predictions. Posted by diver dan, Saturday, 28 September 2024 1:19:13 PM

Hi Yuyutsu,
There's no reason why America can't take a seat at the table if it chooses, but right now it just wants everyone to kneel. Hi diver dan, 'coping with your affliction of rabid Anti Semitism' - It may surprise you to learn that unlike you, my life doesn't centre around Israel. It makes no difference to me how big of a hole Israel digs for itself, though I'd prefer if innocent people weren't caught up in it and didn't have to pay with their lives. I'm told that one of the first tasks for any Hezbollah commander is to train their replacements. And what you might find is that the replacements are much more hard line and determined than the ones you just removed. Beyond that, it doesn't change Israels situation. I'm not certain that Netanyahu isn't just posturing, playing to the feelings of the settlers in the North and his hard right government. I'm still not convinced the IDF is in any shape to go into Southern Lebanon. Posted by Armchair Critic, Sunday, 29 September 2024 9:34:28 AM

Dear critic,
«There's no reason why America can't take a seat at the table if it chooses, but right now it just wants everyone to kneel.» And what would happen if we in Australia refused to kneel? And what would happen to the world if everyone else also refused to kneel? Israel refuses to kneel, but they have their own nukes as last resort, most likely biological weapons too - and what have we? Posted by Yuyutsu, Sunday, 29 September 2024 12:05:25 PM

The Acrid Conscript (AC) to jihadist genocidal mania.
There is a deep and disturbing psychologically bent motivation to your Antisemitism which plays into the worst aspects of human nature. Your the evidence of that flaw; but your not alone. It is as if Tucker Carlson were writing your scripts. Carlson is actually a left wing Democrat in disguise: You seem oblivious to the fact. He’s certainly done more than his share of damage to Trumps campaign for Presidency, and is very persuasive by bent of heredity. I’d suggest you research his past based on that line of thought, and allow free thought to enter the void of his absence. Posted by diver dan, Sunday, 29 September 2024 4:55:32 PM

The standard is threats, blackmail, sanctions, regime change and military intervention.
Probably wouldn't happen to us because both major parties are aligned. with U.S foreign policy, and we are an english speaking 5-eyes nation. But it also means they'll drag us into their own wars. We have U.S weapons, they're overpriced and ineffective and there isn't enough military capacity to build them if we needed large quantities. We'll lose the war and go bankrupt at the same time, with the populace in revolt. Posted by Armchair Critic, Sunday, 29 September 2024 5:39:57 PM

I think that maybe the part you find disturbing or incomprehensible, is that I won't automatically kneel and pull my butt-cheeks apart for for the Israeli cause. I don't care about religion, I care about respect decency and dignity and if you force people to live in subjugation well you end up getting what you have coming to you. You're nothing more than a genocide supporter slagging other people off that disagree with your own bias in my opinion. And btw, I don't follow Carlson, I've watched at best maybe 3 or 4 of his videos. Right now, my choice of viewing is 1/ Garland Nixon http://www.youtube.com/@garlandn 2/ Dialogue Works http://www.youtube.com/@dialogueworks01 3/ Judging Freedom - Judge Napolitano http://www.youtube.com/@judgingfreedom I also watch Alex Christoforou and the Military Summary channels for a daily update on geopolitical events and the situation in Unkraine. http://www.youtube.com/@AlexChristoforou http://www.youtube.com/@militarysummary All youtube channels, none promote extreme views and all present facts and arguments on their own merits. Hardly the radical you make me out to be. Truth is you Israel firsters are the radicals that want to call out and pick an argument with anyone who disagrees with you. The question I'm asking today is if US military are ok with being cannon fodder for Netanyahu. http://youtu.be/-9Zo9RRreF0 Posted by Armchair Critic, Monday, 30 September 2024 11:18:08 AM

Dear Critic,
«if you force people to live in subjugation well you end up getting what you have coming to you.» So true and it is great to hear about your balanced approach, speaking against, amongst others, the leaderships of: China Russia Belarus North Korea Iran Myanmar's Junta Sudanese militias Boko Haram Yemen's Houthis Hamas Hezbollah And to a lesser degree, every other government, including Australia's. Hi Yuyutsu,
None of the countries on your list are perfect, all have complicated histories and each situation is different, some are certainly places I would not wish to live. - But that can also be said of many western countries too. Posted by Armchair Critic, Monday, 30 September 2024 1:13:08 PM

"These four kids were buried yesterday without their heads. The Israeli occupation warplanes hit Abu Nada family's home in Nusairat Refugee camp." http://x.com/wafa_Gaza/status/1837448454181732494 "Israeli airstrike hits a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City, an hour ago, massacring at least 21, including 13 children and 9 women, and injuring and maiming dozens others. Eyewitness describes to me that the situation is nothing short of horrific. Child body parts are scattered everywhere. The videos that I have are so horrible, I am sorry I couldn't upload them. #Gaza. Btw. We will witness more massacres like this as long as the world leaders sit back and watch." You'll notice the name Wafa Al Udaini is the name of the X user above.. She tried to show a first hand side of the situation. Here's how she describes herself: http://x.com/QudsNen/status/1840734848756969877 "I am a journalist, but I am also a refugee. My parents were expelled from their village in Palestine, which is now in Israel." "Being a journalist in Gaza is not easy, because every single day, you are subjected to (the possibility) of being killed, injured, or arrested by the Israeli occupation forces." - Wafa Aludaini Here she is on video, talking to some Christian kids in a Gaza church. http://x.com/QudsNen/status/1840734768222056855 Well you won't have to worry about her anymore. http://x.com/QudsNen/status/1840733967785308656 Wafa Ali Al-Udaini, a Gaza-based journalist, was killed last night along with her husband and two children in an Israeli airstrike that targeted her home in Deir el-Balah. I have detected an undercurrent going on in Lebanon.
I think Israel will tap in on the hatred of most Lebanese with Hezbolah. Iran, using Shia moslems imposed its unofficial army on Lebanon. That army killed local politicians and imposed control on all of Lebanon. There is no love lost between them. Lebanon might recover if the world impoverishes Iran. Israel could do that overnight if it wished by destroying Iran's oil industry. Posted by Bezza, Wednesday, 2 October 2024 2:01:49 PM

- Looks like anti-Semitism has officially gone mainstream.
Which governments paid goons are you going to buy off to punish their own citizens for criticism when the governments themselves have had it with you?
Iran has fascilitated a strategic defeat of your country, the ironic part about it, was that only was they could do it was to count on Israels over-reaction on Oct 7, meaning you brought this on yourselves.
Israel's southern port Eilat is shut down because of the Houthis and its (Israels) economy is on life support. Nobody is investing money in Israel during a war, the India Middle East Corridor is on hold indefinitely, Saudi Arabia will not normalise ties with Israel without the creation of a Palestinian state and it's capital in Jerusalem.
Israel was created as a place Israelis could go and live and bask in the sun (at the expense of the Palestinian people), well that's not happening, they're in bomb shelters.
If this continues Israeli society will collapse, you'll see an exodus of millions of Israelis and at that point, there aren't enough people for it to sustain itself as a nation, and at that point it's bye bye Israel, hello one State, Palestine.
Israel is on the brink of civil war anyway.
They can attack Hezbollah, but I think that will surely end badly, Israelis have been fighting for a year, their capabilities are diminished and they're war weary, and the other side has been relishing the prospect of this fight since 2006.
Attacking Lebanon will surely end in failure and hasten Israel - and Netanyahus demise and earn more of the worlds ire.
Have fun with your settler problem, your northern territory problem, your hostage problem, and the disgust of the entire planet.
- Just remember, you brought this on yourselves.
