Proper evaluation of greenhouse gas reduction policies : Comments
By Geoff Carmody, published 24/9/2024Arguments about how to cut Australian greenhouse emissions (incl using nuclear power) are rife. They've been all about the cost of policy options. They're partial and misleading, at best.

The so-called elites all pretend to believe the scam. Peter Dutton's push for nuclear power because it's the only way to reach “net zero” is pathetic. It was his party that started the net zero rubbish in the first place: he doesn't have the bottle to call a halt to the scam.
The whole climate/renewable energy rot is now seeing farmers working under 400 metres from the latest crop of windmills being warned to wear hard hats because bits and pieces are flying off the windmill blades.
Instead of having five bob each way and talking about the best way to reduce emissions, opponents of this nonsense should be talking about the total lack of any need to reduce emissions; and that nothing we do will change the climate.
