This is something Albanese and Wong would use as excuse to flood our country with toxic Palestinian refugees as justification.

Palestinians are not innocent by standers as the Imams would suck you into believing.

It is good to see a Muslim organisation speaking with courage and moral clarity on this issue. Hamas has caused horrific suffering for both the Israeli and Palestinian people.

Sadly, though, I am not sure how representative this perspective is of the Muslim world more broadly. Although the title Global Imams Council sounds impressive, it seems to be a fairly small group formed with the specific (and noble) intent of countering Islamist violence.

Here in Australia, the Australian National Imams Council has issued numerous statements condemning Israel, but I could not find one condemning Hamas.
